An SMS gateway connects your software to mobile phones. NewHope SMS gives you both sides: a web dashboard for people and a REST API for systems, sending to Tanzanian mobile numbers from one credit balance.

Your application sends an HTTPS request with the phone number and the message. NewHope SMS checks the request, takes the credits for the message parts, passes the message on for delivery and records its status. You can read that status back through the API or on your own webhook.
Sending through the API costs exactly the same as sending from the dashboard, and both use the same credit balance. There is no separate API fee.
Register and confirm your e-mail address.
Open API Keys in the dashboard and create an SMS key or an OTP key. The secret is shown once, so store it safely.
Use the request examples in the API documentation. Test keys use the NewHope sender until your own Sender ID is approved.
Messages are delivered to Tanzanian mobile numbers. A message can be up to 918 characters (six parts). Sender IDs are limited to 11 letters and numbers and must be approved before use.
